The Coumadin Clinic offers management and education on the use of warfarin and heparin for clotting disorders. We also offer outpatient treatment and monitoring for Deep Vein Thrombosis. A team of specialists including nurses, laboratory support, physician, and pharmacists will evaluate and manage your treatment in order to improve your outcome and minimize complications. We strive to keep you healthy and out of the hospital while remaining safe on blood thinning medication. At each visit you will receive a written report of your laboratory test with guidelines for managing your warfarin therapy. Each month, your local medical provider will receive a copy of your most recent reports with recommendations. These clinics are held at the Cancer Consultants Office.
